Check that the order is ready
Open the order and review Next Steps, the governing Disbursement Agreement and the listed recipients. The order uses the agreement’s disbursement plan; it does not ask you to invent recipient instructions.
Funding, closing phase and other prerequisites determine whether Disburse Funds is available. If a task is locked, review the outstanding work or contact Support rather than using another action as a substitute.
Review each destination
- Choose Disburse Funds and select the intended recipient when multiple disbursements are listed.
- Check the recipient name, destination and amount against the agreement.
- Wait for any authorized account-number lookup to finish. The initial last-four display is not the full account number.
- Review related wraparound note requirements before completing the payout.
Keep each recipient’s transfer separate so its reference, date and amount match your actual outgoing wire.
Record the transfer
The sheet records a disbursement; it does not initiate a wire from your bank. Follow your business’s bank process, then enter the actual amount, date and any reference or signature information requested by the sheet.
Review the confirmation carefully and save. Check the recipient’s recorded status and Activity afterward. When the order has multiple recipients, one completed transfer does not mean every disbursement is complete.
If instructions or saving fail
Do not proceed using incomplete account details or an instruction you believe is wrong. Contact Support with the Order ID. An account-number lookup failure or submission error should be resolved in the sheet before treating the transfer as recorded.
For money being returned rather than paid under the disbursement plan, use the refund workflow.
