Create a Profile and update its name or image

A Profile is what you do business as

Use a Partners Profile to represent yourself or your service business when managing products and Partner Orders. Your personal account remains the person signing in. A Profile can have several members, and your account can belong to several Profiles.

For examples, see What’s the difference between an account and a profile?. Creating a Profile does not verify your personal legal name or set the recorded vesting entity for every closing.

Create your Profile

1. Open Profiles under Account & Help. Use the add-Profile control in the settings area, or open Create Profile.
2. Enter a professional Profile name for yourself or your company. The creation form accepts 2–30 characters and allows letters, numbers, spaces, periods and commas.
3. Optionally choose Upload Image for a photo or logo, crop it and confirm the image.
4. Choose Create Profile. Paperstac opens the new Profile’s details.

The image can be PNG, JPG or WEBP; at least 256 × 256 pixels is recommended. You can create the Profile without an image.

Change the name or image

In the settings area, select the Profile you want to edit and open Profile Details. Check the selected Profile before making a change.

Use Profile Information to edit its display name. Use the image controls to upload and crop a replacement photo or logo, or remove the existing image. If editing controls are unavailable, check your role with the owner or an Admin.

Selecting a Profile here changes which Profile the settings links refer to. It does not change the person signed in or change the owning Profile of existing products or orders.

Add your team and understand availability

Use Profile Members to invite people with their own logins. See Invite members and understand Profile roles.

Profile creation and invitation acceptance have a limit of 30 memberships in the Partners app scope. If you reach the limit, review Profiles you no longer need before creating or joining another. A Partners Profile is separate from your Profiles in Paperstac marketplaces.
